Sunday musing

What's isolation taught you?

I have an even deeper appreciation for the humans I live with, my bed is my happy place and YouTube has heaps of hallmark murder mystery shows 💜

I have also learned that my lifestyle needs some tweaking..... Online shopping 😜

So I've got some ideas brewing 🤗

Starting with growing some veggies & herbs, I'm thinking a vertical garden to save space.

Next on my list is clearing space for more bulk food storage (no not toilet paper 😂) I used to bulk buy to save money but got lazy. Then I'm going to invest in a second slow cooker & steamer, to take away all the excuses to order take away.

Ive also started a food journal, as I've had the time to realise just how distructive my food choices have been.
I used this template, I found it on Pinterest.

I've been suffering from terrible migraines, upset tummy and feeling just blur! Thanks to this little template I've been able to pin point the causes and slowly change my eating.

Also the thought of saving money to spend on family holidays definitely sweetens the deal and no calories 😂

I've also had time to read, not just for my studies but also for pleasure 💜

So what about you? Any new projects?

And of course I've been busy working in my little office, Em's Apothecary has been super busy and I've been working hard on perfecting my new plant based skincare.

Have you tried any new chemical free products, share your experience 🤗

Right I'm off, I have a cup of tea and book calling my name.

Quarantine confession

Ok time to fess up.....

To the outside world I made quarantine seem like a piece of cake......

Well it was, cause I ate cake, pizza, pasta, Chinese..... Anything on uber 😂

And now it's showing on the outside!

When your loose happy pants start looking like tights it's time to reassess.

Not to mention how sick my shitty nutrition has made me feel, migraines for days 😭

So why not turn this negative into a positive 🤗

My goal is to be a holistic lifestyle coach, so I'm gonna be my first client 😅

So it's time to take care of myself, practice what I preach.

I'm starting with self love meditation, yoga and eating more vegetables. I've been studying Ayurveda, at first it was just for my personal information but I'm now thinking I want to learn more 🤗

Self care is the number one priority of Ayurveda 💜

I'm not to sure about eating indian food because I'm a wussy when it comes to spicy food 😂 but I'm willing to give it a go.

Have you tried Ayurveda? Tell me about your experience, I'd love to hear it 🤗
